Pastor Jerry Cook

Pastor Jerry Cook was born in southern California on May 16, 1976, in Glendora. After graduating from high school in 1994, he enrolled at the Pacific Coast Baptist Bible College in San Dimas, California, graduating in 1998.

For the next three years he was involved in prison ministry until the Lord burdened his heart to begin the Freedom’s Way Baptist Church in Santa Clarita Valley on March 14, 2002.

For the next 18 years the Freedom’s Way Baptist Church was in and out of various locations until August of 2019 when God graciously allowed three churches to merge into one Body. This blessed Freedom’s Way Baptist Church with a beautiful building in Santa Clarita Valley to congregate.

Pastor Jerry Cook has been married to his lovely wife Rita since April 21, 2000. They have three children; Jerry Jr, Derek, and Serena.

Our Beginning

Why Freedom's Way Baptist Church

Several years ago, I was driving to a preachers meeting with another pastor friend, and he asked me what I was going to call the church once we formally began to meet. I mentioned that I wanted to incorporate the love of country with my love for the Lord, and hence, Freedom’s Way was born.

After all, the only true freedom one can have is by embracing the Way, the Truth, and the Life, Jesus Christ crucified.

Freedom’s Way Baptist Church exists to encourage and equip the saints, and to evangelize the sinner. Our objective is to have a positive, biblical impact both locally in Santa Clarita Valley and beyond in the world.

We are local body of baptized believers called to make a difference. Will you join us and help to make a difference both locally and globally?

Mighty Men's Fellowship

Equipping and encouraging men. Guiding them to lead spiritually and biblically.

Women's Fellowship

Encouraging growth and accountability. Building each other up in the faith. Meets at 9 AM every first Saturday of month.

Youth
ministry

Jesus centered, not self-centered. Engaging lessons structured according to age.

Children's Ministry

Guiding the young ones towards a love for Jesus. Equipping them to walk with the Lord in principle and deed.
